Dr. Hewei Tang is currently a postdoctoral staff member in Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Atmospheric, Earth, and Energy Division. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Dr. Tang serves as an Associate Editor of Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering and a program committee member of SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition. She has authored 12 publications in peer-reviewed journals and holds 3 U.S. patents. Her current research interests include inverse modeling, uncertainty quantification, and deep learning-based surrogate modeling for subsurface multiphase flow.
